"I started working on Essence of Scotland whilst working with my Father when he started up the Company about 10 years ago. Since then, I have watched and learned how to pull together standard tours of Scotland, however realised that there was so much more out there to see and do. I began Essence as as a special project to bring extra experiences to those who wanted something more special to remember in their tour other than just visiting tourist attractions. So we started to pull together all the amazing things that you can do in Scotland that not many people know about. We started throwing themed dinners, where we invited Mary Queen of Scots to attend and re-live the history of her time. We began taking clients to pre openings at Edinburgh Castle which in itself makes you feel like Royalty. We even produced a tour where Rob Roy in all his history took over our vehicle giving his side of the story as they travelled to their next destination. This makes my role so exciting as I really can make history come alive for our clients special interests."
